Greetings from Zambia! There is far too much to share and far too little time to do it – but here is a snapshot (and a video!).
In short – we had the privilege of facilitating projects through which musicians, leaders, and Bible translators collaborated to compose the first-ever scripture songs using their own spoken language, musical language and Bible translation – amazing! We have flown over 11,000 miles and driven over 1,100 miles. Seen 81 new scripture memory songs composed among three language groups. In addition we enjoyed Victoria Falls again (Mosi oa-Tunya “the Smoke that Thunders”), enjoyed a game drive in Mosi oa-Tunya National Park (elephants, rhinos, zebras, etc) climbed Mount Mphaluasenga ( ft) and enjoyed a game drive in South Luangwa National Park (elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, leopards, warthogs, impala, water buck, puku, monitor lizards, and too many more to count!).
We will begin “unpacking” the weeks for you after we get back to the US. But for now we have to set up for a recording project here in the capital city of Lusaka before beginning our trip home Wednesday morning to arrive home around midnight Friday.
Enjoy!
