The transformational story of the Kunda

In this six minute video we share the transformational impact possible when local ministries engage with and through their local cultural forms and practices. The Kunda are a socio-linguistically marginalized people group in eastern Zambia and we had the great privilege of leading workshops and recording some amazing new songs they created. This is a great example of Applied Christian Ethnomusicology and Ethnodoxology!

A special THANKS to all who partner with us in prayer and financial support – you are a critical part of this ministry!

    Praise
     * Thank you for praying for Mary Lu as she spoke last Friday evening for the Summit Garner Women’s Gathering. God used her in a powerful way in many women’s lives.
* Doug continues to heal from his neck surgery. He will meet with the surgeon again on Feb 5 to determine whether or not a second surgery will be needed. The Lord is our strength and song!

 Prayer
* Pray for the 114 women who heard the message and challenge Friday night to courageously share their stories from pain to purpose.
* Continue to pray for us as we create documents for mission leaders and arts specialists to create stronger organizational and professional health. The first draft went out last Thursday. This project is a major priority for Jan and Feb.
* Pray for wisdom for the Doug’s surgeon on Feb 5 as he determines if a second surgery is needed.
